Communication Associate, Medininagar (Palamu): 11 child prisoners have escaped from the observation home cum remand home located in Palamu within a year. Due to the poor security system of the remand home, every time the child prisoners manage to escape. The administration wakes up after the prisoner escapes. Despite this, adequate security arrangements are not made. Let us inform you that within 25 hours, the administration has become fully active due to the absconding of four prisoners from the remand home. However, minors accused of heinous crimes like murder and rape etc. are kept here. After the absconding of four prisoners, now 55 minor prisoners are left in the remand home. It is to be known that on Tuesday night at 11.09, three child prisoners had escaped from the remand home.  The escaped child prisoners included residents of Chainpur, Rehla and Dhanbad. The minors of Chainpur and Dhanbad were accused of rape and Rehla Wala murder. The remand home is run by the Social Welfare Department. Box.. will make adequate security arrangements in the observation home. After the incident of absconding in the past, the wall was raised in view of security. Barbed wire has also been installed.
