The facility of mango horticulture is being provided by the government under the Birsa Harit Gram Yojana. Farmers take advantage of this. These things were said by Palamu Deputy Commissioner Shashi Ranjan. He was speaking on the occasion of World Nature Conservation Day on Wednesday at a program organized under the Birsa Green Village Scheme, "Stop water, plant saplings". He said that mango horticulture was planted on 1000 acres in the district last year. In the current year, mango horticulture has been planted on 73 acres in Chainpur. Interested farmers should plant mango horticulture in vacant fields Earlier while introducing the subject, Chainpur BDO Gyanendra informed that mango horticulture is being planted on 6 acres of land belonging to 6 farmers of Chero tribe in Chando village. In this, 672 fruit-bearing and 480 timber plants will be planted. It is said that mango horticulture is being done under the joint aegis of MNREGA and JSLPS. On the occasion, Deputy Development Commissioner Megha Bhardwaj, Trainee IAS Ashish Aggarwal, Executive President of Zilla Parishad Prabhadevi etc. planted saplings in horticulture. In the program, seeds were distributed among the Didi Bari beneficiaries of JSLPS. The program was conducted by Block Panchayati Raj Officer Manu Prasad Tiwari and Upendra Kumar. Zip members Meena Gupta Pramod Singh and Shailendra Kumar Shelu, chief Vijay Gupta etc. were present in the program.
