More than 30 thousand forms were generated, only 18 thousand reached the banks: DC reviews KCC loan directs to get farms from farmers in 10 days

Samvad Sahayak, Medininagar (Palamu): A total of 30 thousand 500 forms of Kisan Credit Card were generated in the district through a special campaign from July 13 to 22, but only 18 thousand 224 forms were deposited in banks. This disclosure was reviewed through video conferencing of Kisan Credit Card distribution in the NIC Collectorate Auditorium on Friday. The Deputy Commissioner directed not to submit the KCC form incompletely. By doing so the beneficiary will be deprived of the benefit of KCC. The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the progress of KCC distribution block wise. Said that as per the instructions of the government, all the beneficiaries of PM Kisan have to be covered with KCC loan. One lakh 87 thousand farmers of Palamu are associated with PM Kisan Yojana. Despite this, only 86 thousand 200 farmers have been covered by KCC loan.

The Deputy Commissioner appreciated the achievements of Pandu, Pipra and Untari Road blocks during the special camp organized. Along with this, all the sub-divisional officers, block development officers and other officials present in the meeting were directed to generate maximum forms by running a campaign in the next seven to 10 days. Similarly, banks were also instructed to expedite the functioning. Several officers including Assistant Collector Ashish Aggarwal were present in the meeting. At the same time, all the Sub-Divisional Officers, Block Development Officers, Circle Officers, Block Agriculture Officers, ATMs, BTMs etc. were present in the video conferencing.
