He was reviewing the progress related to the construction work and restoration of basic facilities including the Medini Rai Medical College Hospital building in the Commissioner's office on Wednesday. The commissioner said that all the concerned departments and construction agencies should work in coordination to restore the basic facilities including construction work. This will allow all facilities to be restored in time. The Commissioner directed the Executive Engineer of Drinking Water and Sanitation Division to provide adequate facilities of pure drinking water in the college. During the review, the commissioner was informed that the building construction work has gained momentum. The work is being done keeping in mind the stipulated period. Four lecture hall work has been completed. Furniture installation work has also been done in the lecture hall. Regarding the problem of forest clearance on the land to be acquired for the construction of the hospital, the commissioner has directed the Palamu Deputy Commissioner to take action to give the land which is to be given to the forest department. Regional Deputy Director Health Services Dr John F Kennedy, Administrator cum Nazarat Deputy Collector Shailesh Kumar Singh, Superintendent of MRMCH Dr KN Singh, Executive Engineer of Drinking Water and Sanitation Division Ashutosh Kumar and many officers were present in the meeting.
