In this, he gave necessary instructions to the concerned officials. During this, the DC marked the black spots of the roads and directed them to improve them so that road accidents can be stopped.


While reviewing the compensation being given in the hit and run case of road accidents, Deputy Commissioner Garhwa said that signage and rumble strips should be installed at the places prone to road accidents and black spots like Annaraj Ghati, Budha Paras, Gulrahiya Doha, NH 343 etc. Have been instructed to leave. The applications received for compensation related to road accidents were executed in the meeting. Apart from this, instructions have been given to get signage done at selected places of NH and RCD. DC directed to conduct helmet, seat belt and mask checking campaign in the district.


During this, the possible reasons for the statistics of road accidents were also reviewed. The bridge built in the path, rumble strip convex mirror and updated status of sinus were discussed. Emphasis was laid on getting flex and posters related to road safety-related licenses, the utility of helmets and other subjects at various places under district headquarters. Apart from this, the DC directed the executive officer of the civic body to take necessary steps for systematic parking and ease of traffic.


At the same time, it was said that the handcarts being put on the roads should be placed in the designated place, the wedding zone, to ensure ease of traffic by streamlining all the traffic junctions in the district. He said that the rules of road safety should be widely disseminated so that every person understands road safety as his responsibility. District Transport Officer Manish Kumar, District Education Officer Sanjay Kumar Pandey, Executive Officers of various municipal bodies, members of the Road Safety Committee etc. were present in the meeting.
