Due to the rapid rise in the water level of the Koel river, the settlements along the river have been submerged. Flood water has entered dozens of houses in areas like Rahat Nagar, Hussain Nagar etc. under Pahari Mohalla of the city. In such a situation, the affected families had to face difficulties. The worst situation is of Bhatti Mohalla of the city, Jhut Patti of Pahari Mohalla, Gamhail Road and Rahat Nagar. The roads here have turned into ponds. Apart from this, waterlogging has occurred at various places. Here the situation is the same in the rural areas as well. Amanat river is in spate due to heavy rains. Due to the rise in the water level of the Koel and Amanat rivers, many settlements on the banks of the rivers are filled with water.

Medininagar: Most of the shops in the market remained closed due to torrential rains. Apart from the main roads, the streets of the alleyways were also deserted. Many shops opened in Panch Muhan Road, Six Muhan Road, Shringar Road, Bata Road, Redma etc. areas of the city, but due to rain, customers are coming almost nil. Vehicular movement is also decreasing significantly.
