Kunal Gaurav, a student of BP DAV Public School, who secured the first position in the district by scoring 97.6 percent marks, is a resident of Ward No. 18 Tandwa of Garhwa city. Kunal is the son of Virendra Kumar and Kanchan Devi. Hai Kunal's father Virendra Kumar is a vegetable seller. Kunal Gaurav's father Virendra Kumar works as a vegetable seller. On this achievement of his beloved, he said that I do not understand much about studies, but I understand so much that I have to give good education to my child and I have been discharging my duty regularly. I am very happy that my son Kunal Gaurav has lived up to my expectations. He credited this achievement to Kunal Gaurav as well as the teachers of BP DAV Public School, he said that my son has not done any tuition for any subject anywhere. He told that the child has achieved this achievement only on the basis of school education and his hard work.
