Old man's body found flowing in Domani river
Dialogue source, Kharoundhi (Garhwa): The body of an 80-year-old unidentified old man was seen floating in the water on Thursday on the banks of the Domani river flowing through Bandhwa Tola of Chandni Panchayat of Thana area. Villagers said that due to excessive rain in the block, the dead body has come floating in the strong flow of the Domani river.
The one who got stuck in the bush on the banks of the Bandhwa Domani river. On Thursday morning, locals saw the dead body floating in the river. After seeing the dead body, people started coming to the river bank. The body could not be identified. People informed about this to the station in charge Rahul Kumar Mishra. The station in-charge sent PSI Sonu Kumar and ASI Sukhram Oraon to the spot. After reaching the site with the team force, the police took the unidentified body in their possession and after Panchnama sent it to Garhwa for post-mortem.
The police station in-charge said that the body has been identified as Ramprasad Thakur, a resident of Siga of Kon police station area of Sonbhadra district of border Uttar Pradesh. The boy of the deceased had come. He told that my father, the deceased Ramprasad Thakur, had gone to graze goats in the village itself yesterday afternoon. Where due to excessive heavy rain, Domani slipped and took it to the river. He died due to drowning in the Domani river. After this the dead body came here floating in the river. On this occasion, a large number of local people including block chief Dharmaraj Paswan, head husband Krishna Seth, zip representative Rajesh Kumar Rajak, MLA representative Jitendra Prasad Yadav, social worker Avadh Kumar Mehta, Vivekanand Yadav, Chandan Singh were present at the spot.
